My Sister

I could say a million things

to tell you what my sister brings

Like reminding me of childhood fun

and lazy days spent in the sun

She loves to laugh and play and dance

She's always daring and takes a chance

She listens well and gives good advice

She's funny and she's full of spice

But mostly it's her subtle ways

that brighten up my cloudy days

So when I'm sad and feeling blue

I call my sister, wouldn't you?

Her smile is sunny and totally bright

When she's around, I feel alright

She makes me proud in every way

I love her more and more each day.
